I love bacon, the real stuff, not the fake stuff they call "Canadian bacon". There is just something about the combination of salt, pork fat and nitrates that gets my digestive juices flowing (I am salivating as I write this). Bacon is good at breakfast, lunch and dinner, with everything. I am a bit picky about my bacon. I don't like it under or over cooked -- it has to be cooked to the point where it's just starting to crisp, but not dry. If I were told I had a week left to live, I'd eat it every day, and wash it down with some Dr. Pepper.
