Did You Know?
Conventional farmers use around 300 different pesticides to grow foods that are sold in supermarkets everyday.
Your first car is always the best car in the world, no matter what the rest of world thinks. My first car was a 1997 Volvo 850 sedan (still driving it, as I write this). Yes, it's over 20 years old, and no, I'm not a 60 year old man. I got it used; what appealed to me were: the brand's reputation for safety and reliability, its relatively low price and the fact that it looks like a box on wheels (I have a thing for boxy cars, except for the Nissan Cube. That's just an ugly looking car. No offense to Cube owners). It has served me well; the only repairs that it needed were for the muffler -- it had a hole in it which made it sound really loud. It sounded kinda badass. I know what you're thinking: how often do you hear people describing a Volvo as badass? (never). But, to me, it sounded like one of those muscle cars in the Fast & Furious movies or a Honda Civic with an aftermarket, modified muffler. The body is still in pretty good shape, notwithstanding a few scratches and dents and some minor damage to one of the rims when my mom took it out for a drive one day and promptly smashed it into a sidewalk curb (that's a story for another day).
I hope it'll last another 20 years.
